man im so sad this is turning into such a bad experience for people.  i LOVE this app and though it is sometimes painful, when i plug in directly to the PC where my files are stored it works like a charm.  so sorry for all of you since when it works it is the best on the market!

Are you scrolling from page to page or clicking next page button?  I have found that scrolling produces the buffering thing but next page does not. 

are you running the latest for both windows client and apk?

Did you try it with your usb cable connected?

yes. You can point the client to a folder or folders and that’s where it will pull them from. 

i asked about ubooquity a while back and while that does seem logical, they are doing more than just downloading the comics to the quest.  They are doing background effects for the immersion and formatting i believe, not sure whats all going on in there tbh.  i tend to read long graphic novels, so the short term pain of plugging in and transferring to my quest is worth the reading experience.  i hope you stick with it!

Hey guys from the last two posts here.  any updates?  i know that i had a bit of trouble getting them on there eventually and it seemed to be a combination of malwarebytes, acronis or windows firewall preventing the information flow.  i installed it on a laptop with none of these, turned off the FW (during this exercise) and it worked just fine.  Just a thought.  IT is COMPLETELY worth it once you get it working!

I use an 8bitdo sn30 pro and it works well. Not the full experience like the quest controllers but easier to recline with. No zoom functionally though. It would be great if this was supported  by controller mapping settings.

I would also like to say the reading experience on this app is incredible. I only wish it worked on the oculus go too!!

My companion app seems to be pretty temperamental.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.  Sync functionality doesn't seem to work as intended.  in the previous version of the companion(12), i could click and title and tell it to sync, but not in this 14.2 version.  And in this case 2 titles seem to have synced locally (they have the disk icon instead of the cloud) which is great, but how can i get rid of them once i am done?  

i appreciate the dev team working so hard on the updates, but i wonder if using something like ubooquity might be an alternative?  hoping it will work at some point.

i deleted the windows app but when i reinstall it all of the collection still seems to be there, even though i removed the folder to scan.  i dont think this handles large collections too well, and that's ok, but gotta make sure the cleanup occurs correctly.
